PABLO CAMAÑO HILDMANN



Argentine Musician/Composer. He trained as a guitarist at the age of 12 with Eduardo Moyano. He studied piano and harmony with Hector Iannuzzi (classical and jazz) and Belcantista vocal technique with Marta Velazquez at the Manuel de Falla Conservatory. He studied sitar with Guido Pera and Ariel Chab, rhythmic cycles and Hindi culture with Rasikananda Das. Received a diploma in Sangit Vid sitar (advanced level) at the SaRGaM School of Hindustani Classical Music in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He studied vocal technique and Hindustani singing with the teacher Ratnabali Adhikari.
During the year 2010 to 2016 as a performance guitarist in the musical comedy work Hora Libre-Rock en la Escuela, winning the Culture of the Nation award, as a guitarist and sitarist in the play When Callan los Patos, winning 9 Hugo Awards and best musical off and as guitarist in the rock opera Juegos de Fabrica.
In 2017 he traveled to Santiago, Chile to collaborate in an intensive Indian music workshop with Krishna Chakravarty.
In 2018 he was part of Dov’è la bussola? as a sitarist in Monteverdi's opera L'orfeo, performing a modern adaptation along with traditional Indian instruments, a classical orchestra and a metal rock band at the Lude theater in Buenos Aires, Argentina. That year he traveled to India and perfected his Sitar technique with Dr. Krishna Chakravarty, former Dean of the Banaras Hindu University, India and disciple of Ravi Shankar. He leads the band Acuario Cristal, Ritual Fox and his solo project Pablo Ecos from 2012 to the present. He participated in the Lollapalooza world festival playing the sitar with an original group called Upeksha.
He currently resides in the city of Madrid, Spain, giving concerts of Indian classical music.
He is a disciple of the sitarist Sahana Banerjee (Seniya Gharana)
He performs various adaptations with sitar in ceremonies, gong sessions and yoga classes. He is a sitar, guitar and piano teacher, session player, arranger and composer of original music for audiovisual productions.
He created a comprehensive Indian music course called The Awakening of Musical Naad Yoga.
Conduct Ayurvedic Ragas sessions for therapeutic purposes through the interpretation of different ragas.
